Drummer is a 38′ steel junk schooner designed by Tom E. Colvin and built in 1973. In 2007 we salvaged her from where she had been sitting in a boatyard in Florida for 18 years and it took nearly 3 years to get her back in the water. Drummer was, and still is, a lot of work- but lots (uncountable LOTS) of people have helped to fix her up and help her become what she is today.
After 11 years in the Caribbean (with summer breaks for her crew to work in Alaska) Drummer is ready to move on to deeper waters and a new rhythm. We are looking to meet up with Ladyboats and lady sailors who want to sail more and work less. And also ride bikes wherever possible.
