Cu-Mara (Gaelic for “Sea Hound”) is an Al Mason designed, 38′ steel yawl built in Ontario, Canada. Cu lived all her life on the Great Lakes until being transported, via truck, to Maine. I purchased Cu three years ago and have been working in all my free time and summers to get her sailing and ready for adventures! I am a full-time student at Maine Maritime Academy, studying in a four-year Vessel Operations and Technology program pursuing a bachelor’s degree and 1600T USCG license and I also work as a visual artist!
